This Canon Pixma MX860 All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer is more expensive than the Pixma MX330. But I’m sure you will satisfy because you will get a lot. This printer can print via wireless and wired network. It also offers a duplexer which is built-in. The color print resolution is 9600×2400 dpi. Moreover, your photos will have great colors which are truly outstanding. It has five ink tanks which means replacing them will cost you a lot. But if your printing need is quite high, I think you won’t mind paying the extra money because this printer’s print quality is so excellent.
Guide Review – Canon Pixma MX860 All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer
The Canon Pixma MX860 can be used as fax as well as a copier, so it is a useful tool for your office. About scanning, this Canon uses the technology “Dual Color Gamut” which improves scan quality. Like other Canon multifunctional printers, this one goes through ink really fast and is fairly heavy as well as large.
This Canon offers the duplexing feature which is built in. This helps you save your time because you have no need to flip the paper manually. Moreover, it also allows printing across the network. These two options, together with several more useful features, make this Canon’s price more expensive than the MX330’s. You know, you will get what you pay for it.
About print quality, you will be glad because this Canon printer will provide you “laser-quality text”. Black fonts may be some of the crispest you have ever seen. Unlike the MX330 which has 2 ink tanks, the Canon Pixma MX860 has 5 ones which will help colors become nuanced and excellent. Subtle color gradations will look excellent even when you use cheap papers. Don’t worry because they won’t get overwhelmed or limp. A 4 x 6 photo will come out after about one minute and eight seconds, with remarkable colors which are clear, nuanced and bright.
There is just one issue is that the printing speed when it comes to printing across network is quite slow, especially when you keep on using the computer while you are printing. It takes up to six minutes for a PDF document which has 10 pages to come out, including several minutes for the printer itself to warm up. Performing is much faster when it comes to smaller jobs. It takes around 30s each to print a 3 highly colorful graphics pages.
There are also some feedbacks about some problems when you try to print around 30-50 pages at “Fast printing” mode. So you need to check carefully before purchasing.
